Our Story
Comics brought us together. Community keeps us here.
The Southside Comic Book Show started as a dream shared by a handful of Chicago south side comic fans who wanted something closer to home — a show that felt like theirs. No corporate polish, no velvet ropes. Just long boxes, great art, and good people.
What We're About
We believe comics are for everyone. From the kid picking up their first issue to the collector hunting a key book they've wanted for decades — this show is built for all of you. We're a community-first event rooted in Chicago's south side, and we're proud of it.
Community First
This show exists because of the fans, collectors, artists, and vendors who show up every year. You're not just attendees — you're the reason we do this.
Comics for Everyone
We keep admission affordable, kids get in free, and parking is always free. Comics shouldn't have a cover charge.
South Side Proud
Tinley Park is home. We're part of Chicago's south side fabric and we celebrate that every year.
